Conferencia Antoni Gaudí:
The architect of imposible
Antoni Gaudí transformed architecture into an aesthetic and spiritual experience that seemed to defy the laws of matter. Inspired by the organic forms of nature, he designed buildings where columns, facades, and vaults evoke bones, trees, waves, and mountains. His work combined structural calculation, religious symbolism, and extraordinary visual imagination, giving rise to a unique architectural language within Catalan modernism.
Among his most celebrated creations are the Basílica de la Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló, and Park Güell, spaces where geometry and color become living elements. Gaudí did not conceive architecture as a mere functional construction, but as a total work capable of integrating art, faith, and nature. Therefore, his legacy continues to be considered one of the most daring and innovative expressions of universal architecture.
